I suffer frequently from Shingles and would like to know if there is a vaccine available in the area to prevent this. I am 75 years old in the UK anyone over the age is given this on the NHS free, I am on the Spanish hea,th care system.

Quick question we are flying over to Almeria next week and hiring a car at the airport so we can come and see our new home in Albox. The question is am I better off fetching Euros over to Spain to pay for the car etc or will it be as cheap for me to use my English debit card?

Hi all. Quick question about bus services between aguilas and san juan. Been on the busbam website and its showing once daily. Last couple of times we were over it was 3 times daily. Surely theyve not scaled it back. If so really difficult getting around with hiring a car.

I have a spin dryer which i have found very usefulindeed. I bought it from location auction at antas but it was very new and i saw the same one for sale in lopez.

However it didnt have the rubber ring to hold clothes down inside and i got one in the uk but a bit smaller and it went well,perfect but has just chewed it up and i got a new bit but it now is not working . i need someoe to look as I hope there is not much wrong with it.

Hi, we are thinking of buying a holiday home in San Juan but have heard reports that in the winter months the resort shuts and there is not much to do or many bars and restaurants? We are holidaying in Roquetas de mar in July this year so will have a trip to San Juan but just wondered if people could let me know or share their thoughts and experience? We are not party animals and are looking to spend 2-3 months when we retire but we would like somewhere that has a few bars and restuarsnts to choose from and a nice feiendly town/village?
