Does anyone know anything about the sale of the whole Sierra Cabrera development? I have been looking at property in Sierra Cabrera for quite a while now and I am aware of a dispute between the current developers and some of the residents over the maintenance and infrastructure fees. I just checked Rightmove Overseas and it would appear that the developers have put Sierra Cabrera on the market for Euros 7,000,000....

Hi, can anyone advise me on driving a Spanish registered car back in the U.K. My husband & I were going to become residents of Spain and because we have dogs we matriculated our British car.

 We haven’t  become Spanish residents yet…

All our dogs died during the worst Covid times so we didn’t have to drive to & from Spain and never knew before that we shouldn’t have been driving it back in the U.K.!! 
we are in the U.K. now and want to bring the car back from Spain to pick our NEW pup up and have seen info on Citizen's advice Spain that we can’t drive the car in the U.K. with a British licence?

I’ve looked on the Government website and all I can find is that if you are a Spanish resident you have until the 22nd April to change your U.K. licence to a Spanish one. But…that doesn’t apply to us 😩

Can anyone please recommend an English-speaking travel agent in Garrucha/Mojacar/Vera areas.

WE are part way through buying a property and today learned that it is on unconsolidated uban land. It has all services and was supposed to be legal. Have searched web for info and  not finding anything very reassuring If we procede with sale it seems we could end up with huge bills from townhall for future infrastructure Does anyone know anything about this or where we can get info, It is arboleas area

 By complete chance the sale  of my holiday home in Vera Playa was completed on 28 October 2021. This was two days after Spain's highest Court issued a decision that the method of calculating PlusValia was illegal. A few days later a new legal method of calculating PlusValia was announced by the Government and took effect from the date of the announcement. Five months after the sale of my property was completed my Spanish solicitor is still retaining almost €4000 just in case PlusValia still has to be paid. I cannot see how there be any legal basis for me to have to pay PlusValia now when it was wasn't payable at the date the sale of my property was completed. Is there anyone on the Forum who is in the same position as me or knows someone who is? Regards, Roy

I moved to Villaricos last week. Next week I am having a friend visit with 2 girls aged 10 and 12. 

Does anyone know what kind of activities Villaricos or Vera Playa offers for girls of this age.

As and from today there is no need to visit your Vet to purchase previously chewed bread for dogs and cats with no teeth. By decree Madrid has devolved such sales to supermarkets and other shops throughout Spain. Shop prices are cheaper than charged by your vet. The product Gummo-Fido is being launched in supermarkets throughout Costa Almeria today with buy one, get one free. Tepid tea must be added for use by cats. Some are taking orders for future purchase.
