Recently we saw an advert on Idealista for a duplex for rent in Vera Playa right on the beach for ridiculously cheap. We happened to live round the corner and confirmed it wasn't for rent. The name on the advert was a man and he gave me "his nieces" email [email protected], I did message as we already guessed the response and that was "due to lots of interest if we paid deposit now through Air bnb it would be ours" we reported to Idealista and it was taken down. I have just seen a post on Reddit reporting the same scam with email [email protected] playing the same game in Torrox and Almunecar so please be aware of suspicious adverts, prices too good to be true with dodgy payment methods! And any email that starts with Lorena!!

Hello to every one on the forum, myself and my wife Carla have bought a property in La Perla and will be living there permanently very soon, currently we are travelling between the UK and Spain monthly for a few days at a time.

We are in our 60s and looking to meet new people in the area and learn Spanish to become conversational, any tips and ideas about things to do and places to see would be welcome.

Good morning. We have a Running machine that has developed a fault on an electric circuit board. Does any one know of an electrician/engineer that can find the fault and fix it please. We have tried Seth in Arboleas but he does not do house calls and cannot accomodate our machine in his workshop. Any help or advice will be most welcome.

My shower works off a gas boiler and when I put the hot on it comes through roasting hot, but when I feed in the cold it appears that the water pressure drops on the hot side and the boiler cuts out, is there and way to deal with this ? I have tried every setting I can think of but I now think I need some kind of electric pump to keep the pressure constant while I shower, and suggestions would be apprected
