We are planning to move out to Spain after the new year, we a family with two kids aged 8 & 13, what do we need to know ?
Do we need to have a certain amount in bank accounts etc, we are planning to buy outright to be honest I just want my kids out of the uk and to have a better life, we plan to come over and look at areas that may be good for us do far I’m thinking mojacar and villamartin any advise would be helpful regarding areas with schools etc xx

Hello Everyone,
I am Harry, I am 30. I have been to Mojácar a few times and absolutely love it and the surrounding towns. I am very envious (in a nice way) of you all being able to live there. I would love to be able to come over and have begun to learn Spanish as a small start to making this happen. I guess I am asking how difficult it would be for me to find employment in and around the area. With (currently) no real Spanish. I have a back ground in property and I am also quite handy. This isn’t a request for a job just aninsight as to what’s around. Is there anyone of a similar age who has made the move? I am not expecting to walk into a particular job. I would be happy to work in most roles. I am very friendly.
