I have to commend the 21 Tories who effectively sacrificed their political careers last night (including 2 former Chancellors and the grandson of Winston Churchill). Real Principle is alive and well amongst some Conservatives.

What utter nonesense, like it or not 17.4 million, a majority, voted to leave the EU.  Democracy died yesterday in the U.K. driven by self serving MPs

Oh hello Andy, welcome back.  Still spouting that same old tosh about democracy dying I see.  Face it.  You’re going to have to get used to UK remaining as part of EU.  Johnson is finished as a PM, he has ZERO credibility ..... let’s face it, when Corbyn sounds grown up and forensic in his questioning, and merely highlights Johnson’s evasion .... then things are in a pretty sad state.

Still ... 200 or so years ago, the Whigs - Liberals - were the dominant party in parliament ..... perhaps now we are seeing a Whig resurgence ....

Hello Dario, Your self aggrandising is becoming, no, has become some what tedious.  This is not the end of the matter and I am fully confident that the democratic decision taken by the UK in 2016 will be carried out.  It will I believe take another GE at which point there will be a long over due clear out of those self serving MPs who wish to subvert the democratic process for their own ends.

A GE now will see the end of the Tory party with any luck, and Johnson will certainly be chucked out on his ear - along with baseless promises of “a deal with Brussels”

The only way to accurately know what the much vaunted “will of the people” is now is another referendum; we’ve all had a chance to see what utter bollocks those Tory and Brexit party pillocks have spouted, so we can vote now knowing what actually Brexit would entail, not led astray by Unicorns, rainbows and faery farts, which is what seem to form the foundation of BoJo’s promises.

Bring it on.  Let’s put this Brexit nonsense back in the box where it belongs and get on with living together, forging a closer Europe.

I repeat my earlier comment as there is absolutely no point in trying to debate with you.

You don’t debate though Andy - a debate is an exchange of views - but you go off the deep end ranting about the death of democracy, the will of 17,4 million people (despite the fact that that figure is now far from certain) and make veiled references to “The Lisbon Treaty” which you clearly display you know absolutely nothing about

Well done Dario, Andy quotes democracy. A no deal Brexit would be a ridiculous and UNDEMOCRATIC outcome what the right wing of the Tory party desire. The reasons for my reply and comments are as follows:

Lets talk democracy, first a no deal Brexit would have dire consequences for the border areas in Ireland a border put there by the British government against the elected poll of all the people of Ireland in 1919, the vote was 80 per cent for a united country some democracy!! that said after many years of troubles compounded by the above so called democracy. 1997 saw a peace treaty agreed by all parties stated that there would not be a hard border in Ireland a no deal Brexit would indeed do just that. What right does an MP from Somerset, Uxbridge, Yorkshire or any other MP in the house of commons have on the people of Donegal ,Derry, Monaghan, or Armagh some democracy???

This Bo Jo prime minister who quite probably does not even know where these counties even are?? that said he suddenly dissolves the circus and furthermore takes the whips away from elected Tory MPs one of which is Winston Churchills grandson democracy???

Finally the referendum did not state any reference to a no deal Brexit and it would be also to note Andy, that Scotland and NI voted to stay in the EU where is their democracy??? I take my hat of with complete respect for those MPs who put the country first in the face of adversity and a pretentious half baked dictator!!
