One of the many unpleasant consequences of Brexit is that UK citizens can no longer freely work in the EU and that includes online work. Work visas exist but your European employer would have to prove no EU citizen could do the job so pretty much impossible. There are non lucrative visas for Spai...

...n too but you can't work for the first 5 years and need to prove you have funds to support yourselves during that period plus pay for private health insurance. Again, extremely difficult for young people. There have been rumours of short term nomadic workers visas being brought in so that might give you a temporary solution if they are ever established. You can certainly retire, but unless you hold a passport from an EU country, you will not be able to have any remunerated employment of any kind whatsoever for the first five years.

https://www.gooverseas.com/teach-abroad/spain I am an English teacher and I teach here in Spain, but it is difficult to work here now if you are British. I am an EU citizen. Check the link I sent you, perhaps there is something there that might be suitable. There is a demand for English Teachers, especially in the private sector.

Better check for some European lineage in the family history then
Are you still looking for work? Working with UK companies from here in Spain, business to business generating appointments, training, data etc supplied, you can work here in the office or from home once trained. Well paid.
If you have enough money in the bank you can apply for residency . There are plenty of English children who want to take IGCSEs’ and I’m actually looking for an English maths teacher myself hence google and I found this thread. There is also ELC in mojacar playa who may have work for you . To go this route you register self employed and advertise to locals for private tutoring
I hope this gives you hope ..
register Nie , register social security , rent a place put money in the bank show proof of get a lawyer to apply for immigration.. I’ve known lots of people get residency after brexit.
