I have just returned early from Lua on the Mojacar Playa as I could not believe the number of people walking around without masks. What are Lua thinking of, especially when they were recently closed for a few weeks due to the virus? Surely it's not too hard to remind people that, unless they are sitting in their seats eating or drinking, they must wear a mask when walking to the toilet, to the bar or to visit people on other tables. People were greeting friends, hugging and talking in each others ears without a mask. Do these people think that they are immune or do they not care for their own safety and that of others? Please Lua, if you can't announce it from the stage, have someone walk around reminding people that they must wear their mask or leave. Either that or there may well be another outbreak and you will, once again, be closed.

I was with Maureen
I wanted to complain but was stopped as it would have caused a scene and maybe a fracas as some of these no compliers were well tanked up.I had a word with the staff as we left early and basically their attitude was it's nothing to do with us not our problem...Well it is and maybe when Lua gets shut down and they aren't getting wages anymore they might change their tune
I've challenged people in Ireland who were sneezing improperly, spitting in public, not wearing masks in supermarkets and all I got was "Mind your own business . . ." followed by two fingers. Where ignorance is bliss . . . !
Last night the bombshell was dropped in Ireland. Our government meets tomorrow (Tuesday) and the Official Pandemic Advisors have suggested that the entire country should be moved to the highest Covid alert (Level 5). It's likely Ireland will be demoted to Level 5 from Level 2 within a few days.
Thank You to all who spit in public, sneeze without due care, those who won't wear face masks where they should, those who handle everything they can handle. You just couldn't do the right bloody thing! And here's my two fingers to you . . .
But, boycott Lua . . . . nothing like loss of revenue to get the message across.
Well said Matthew

I'm not in Mojacar at the moment but, if I were and I had booked for our group to eat in a restaurant and if the restrictions were being ignored by the staff and I had to stay in the restaurant, I'd leave no tip and ensure that the waiter(ess) knew why I wasn't leaving my usual 15% of the bill.
Like I said in my previous post, nothing like loss of revenue to gear the mind in the right direction.

we stopped going out to any live music venues because of the lack of social distancing and the risk of people singing close by. untill they come up with the vaccine we will stick to coffees and lunches in quieter places.

Will be doing the same thing too Alicia from now on.People have been questioning why the pandemic has been so bad in Espana the second time around. Well what Maureen observed and experienced last evening in Lua,Mojacar is commonplace then no wonder the infections have been so dramatic...
