"It is a bad business but in my personal opinion, like a war, we can do little about death and injury but give the maximum amount of resource to our hospitals to avoid unnecessary deaths and need to work out what we can do but not keep on banging the same drum about masks, gel or distance."
Like you said Shay, "in my personal opinion" and you are entitled to your opinion. Most of your last paragraph quoted above (to me) appears irresponsible. We can do much to prevent death and the consequences of Covid-19. Wearing face masks properly prevents carriers of the virus spreading it. Knowing how to adjust the mask is important and not handling the area of the mask near the mouth and nose is important. Washing of hands often is one simple way of combatting Covid-19. Sanitising hands before entering retail stores including supermarkets is essential. Sanitising hands on the way out is important also. Self distancing is paramount in fighting Covid-19. Obeying the restrictions is what all this is about. Many don't wish to obey any restriction. Literally, the defeat of Covid-19 is in our hands. Not travelling abroad is a way of preventing the virus spreading to the traveller or to the people where you travel. We are in a pandemic not a pantomime. Let's get real and beat the virus before it beats us.
. . . . and Shay, not being humorous, when I see your signature on a sheet of paper indicating that you don't wish to enter hospital if infected by Covid-19 and allay all rights to others for treatment before you, I'll then start to listen to you.
