Hi, my husband and I are due to take over a long term rental in valle de este resort on 9.08.21.we are flying into Alicante airport. Unfortunately my husband's driving licence is still with the DVLA and will not be returned in time therefore we cannot hire a car. Are there any recommendations for transfers from the airport, either private or a company. Advice would be appreciated.

My name is Sue and I worked as a teaching assistant in the UK for over 20 years, mainly supporting children with Special Needs. I am currently working as an Autonomo  (self-employed) in the Vera area, mainly cleaning and household tasks so far, but I would love to get back to the work I truly enjoy!

My Spanish is fairly basic, but improving all the time, I am accustomed to using Makaton and also PECS ( the picture exchange system) with children who have communication difficulties and have worked both in school and at home with children facing a wide range of difficulties, many of whom were also on the Autistic Spectrum. 

There is nothing more rewarding than helping a child, whether ' differently-abled ' or not, to develop their potential and enjoy life to the full, and I hope that in some way I can enjoy this privilege again.

I have been looking at purchasing a villa locally, I came out in June looking around Albox & Cantoria, I'm back out in 2 weeks and have one property I like that's in Oria, what I'd like to know is what's the weather like out of the summer season, ie: Oct to new year time, as I'd like to be out there for Christmas and New year. In Cantoria it averages 14 to 18 Degrees I'm told duing the day when sun's out, and drops to single figures at night. when I look at weather day by day, oria seems to be 4 to 5 Deg cooler. If it's 16 in Cantoria where it's an elevation of 450mtrs on a sunny winters day what's it like in Oria where it's 1000mtrs elevation. Would I be outside in shorts and t shirt at Christmas time? On a sunny day or would I be dressed like here in the UK in winter. Hopefully someone who lives there would be able to give me the heads up on what the weather is like in the autumn/winter months during the day and if its sunny enough or constantly overcast etc.
