Has anyone used a private company for the day 2 test on returning to Scotland?  The Scottish Government website says a portal by CTM must be used and the test purchased at a cost of £88pp (its also the same for returning to Wales).  Some private companies who are on the recognised list of the UK government and used for return to England are much cheaper but will the passenger locator form accept the code if its not the one specified by the Scottish Government?

The books are now printed, the town halls are supporting our project and so we have five inauguration events organized.

The inauguration schedule for the books is: 

Bedar -  (Town Hall Square) Monday 9 August at 9 pm.

Los Gallardos - (new theatre near to the roundabout on the main road) Wednesday 11 August at 9 pm (easier for parking and for people with mobility problems).

Garrucha - Friday 13 August at 9 pm (location to be finalised)

Vera - Sunday 15 August at 9 pm (Sea front near old chimney 500 m north of the port at Garrucha).

Turre - Monday 16 August at 9 pm (location to be finalised).

All will be outside events and measures taken to counter Covid. I think there will be some refreshments provided by the town halls.

There is still time to reserve a copy at the reduced price of 30 Euros via the the web page on the link below and attent one of the events to collect it.

We are shortly planning a trip back to the uk  & have all relevant documents/tests in place & are both fully vaccinated. We have just 1 concern which is :what is required test wise   to come back to Spain where we are       residents? We have read many different things & feeling quite confused 🤷‍♀️Many thanks 

In other parts of world, where we have been given automatic 90 day stays, we have indulged in visa runs, ie left the country for a little while and returned a few days later with a new 90 day visa.  I know there is no hope for me with my British passport but my husband has obtained the holy grail …an Irish passport! . Can he, in effect,  do visa runs, ie leave the country and return with a new 90 day allowance.?  We understand that if he stays more than 90 days he has to register with the authorities and initiate residency procedures.  He doesn’t want to do this until we are certain residency is what is wanted.

It would be very much appreciated if you can tell me where is the nearest test center from San Juan to get an antigen test and cost prior to leaving for the UK
