Hi peeps, I’m being a bit thick this morning, actually it always confuses me a bit. Can someone tell me the difference between boundaries, i e. Borders, communities, municipalities etc. in Andalusia for instance. For purposes of travel. For instance, I’m in mojacar, can I travel to Vera or antas? I Need to go to bricco Lopez. Thank you.

Hi Doris, only if you can get there today I'm afraid.

It's always confusing but your municipality is your town 'area' such as mojacar, Vera, Cuevas or Antas.  They are all in the province of Almeria which is in the autonomous region of Andalusia.

A lot of municipalities will be 'closed' like last time. You can't cross to another one unless you meet certain criteria.

I imagine Iceland will be very busy today 😉 Take care

if Iceland is very busy they won't have much left on the shelves as it seems the red tape for goods from the UK has already affected them lots of stuff now not on the shelves for those who must have UK stuff.  That and the snow also causing problems for deliveries.

Yes that’s right. I forgot to get the cauliflower for Sunday dinner so I’ve just been to Iceland. I still haven’t got any cauliflower. So it’s double carrots on Sunday. Hey, Ho. 😂😂

Oh that's funny 😅 I forgot cauliflower on Thursday and was on a mission to get one!  Didn't want to queue in Mercadona, Dia or Lidl so popped into one in Vera called Vega (I think it's called) opposite the pet shop we get our dog food from.  Success, no queue, and got my cauliflower as well as asparagus, leeks and brocoli 🙄

Enjoy your carrots 😏

Also useful to know, Supermercado Vega is the only one in Vera open on a Sunday ...

Always amazes me that people do not know any of the geography of the country that they chose to live in,

Years ago there was a guy who set up a help line for expats, this was before internet or even telephones were available outside the capitals so was through "The Entertainer". On to the story, La Cinta has the municipal boundary between Arboleas and Cantoria passing through it and this guy lived in Cantoria but claimed he lived in Arboleas.

Which poses the question, would you take advice from a person who did not know where they lived? Lots did.

Municipal boundaries are all on Internet if you look on search.  Try: 'Provincia Almeria Mapas Municipios. es'   You'll find that Nijar is enormous, Garrucha only the town more or less, Mojacar includes Sopalmo and Vera goes down to the coast to meet Garrucha.  I'm a bit miffed as there's no economical supermarket in mine (Sorbas, although the boundaries are quite extensive) and the choice in those is exceptionally limited!

I'm miffed because our Mercadona closed yesterday for three weeks for a refurb! 🙄
