Thank you. I think the one in Vera town is actually the old Barazza building. Not been to Spain since last January. The rain here hasn't stopped for days. Can't wait to return.
Hi!
I hope you can come back soon!

Same for me and my husband. We live in Los Gallardos and here there’s no supermarkets. Only very very small shops. And if the market (on Tuesdays) does happen , we don’t even have a good choice of fresh stuff either. But for people who live in Turre or Mojacar you’ll have a choice of superm...

...arkets. Pity that they don’t allow shoppers from small towns to shop a few miles away at least once a week? Even if they only allowed one person from the household, that would help. Oh well, we all hope all these restrictions end up helping all of us in the end. Let’s hope 2021 is better than 2020...
No, it's not easy especially when distancing is practically impossible in these small supermarkets. Everything is expensive here in Sorbas and pet food is very limited. You'd think it had only just been invented! I think saw that 'Perrinat', (awful stuff in a gold coloured plastic sausage) when I last went into a small supermarket in Sorbas. There is only one miniscule farmacia so that involves huge queues in a road not closed to traffic and without pavement.
I do wonder if the Mayor actually shops in Sorbas! To do so involves calling at various small shops in order to get (more or less) what you need so you run more risk of catching Covid than if you'd been able to go to just one decent supermarket and get it all over and done with quickly. Also, most people in Sorbas are pretty old, so the chemist queue by the way, is no joke!

Yes let’s hope for that! They’re starting the over 80s now. 🤞

I totally agree and feel sorry for you guys in Sorbas which sounds even worse than Los Gallardos. And as per the Mayor and the Local Police guys I bet they shop somewhere else because the probably can. It really doesn’t make any sense. As you say, queuing up in a small street/pharmacy/supermarket or trying to squeeze in a tiny shop too close to people doesn’t sound safer than doing ONE trip a week to a big supermarket in another town minutes away. So unfair! Other municipalities have a number of supermarkets and shops to choose from!
On another note someone told me Carrefour Suoermarket does home delivery. Try that. I’m thinking of going online to find out whether or not they deliver here.
Good luck 😉!

If you have an appointment, yes, certainly

Really? Someone told me they say we are out of radios and we are “too far” which I thought it was ridiculous. We are 12 minutes from Mojacar. And maybe 10/15 mins from other Mercadonas.
I will go online and try that.
