Exchange rate
Hi
We have just sold our place in Vera what is the best way to send the money to the UK. At the moment we are using Currencies direct but the exchange rate is not that good.

Have a look at Wise. Their rates are consistently better than currencies direct

Agree all day long, Wise is the best I have come across, fast, reliable, efficient and very, very good rates...

Wise definitely has the best rates.
A word of caution - if it is a substantial sum, have documentary proof available to attest to the source of your funds - they *WILL* freeze / deactivate accounts with your money in it if you are unable to prove the source of funding to their satisfaction

Now you have both wise and CD, run comparison at the same time. I always do, (£ to €) and surprisingly, CD gives me more € every time (except once, in 5 years).
