Hello
My husband is having an operation in Hospital Torrecardenas shortly and will be unable to drive after the operation. We therefore need transport to and from the hospital. Any advice on buses from San Juan de los Terreros to Almeria and return greatly appreciated.

The hospital can provide transport for him. We have friends who used the service.
yes they provide ambulance transport for you if requested by your doctor both you and your husband can travel and it is usually door to door. They drop you just outside the entrance and you can get a telephone number to ring when ready or ask the hospital staff to ring for your trip home. The only thing I will say is they drive fast and sometimes eat their lunch at the wheel! and of course they may pick up other patients and you will have a trip that includes those drop offs as well. I used the service every day for two weeks of radiotherapy and it was a godsend for us.
