Transport from airport

Depends on the time of year Almeria is closest but in the winter not many flights.  Corvera in Murcia is next but again limited flights only all year is Alicante which is furthest away.  for travel from any of the airports the airport shuttle bus service is best and least expensive if you are not hiring a car.

thank you for the information. we will not be hiring a car so will need to know how to get from whichever airport we chose if we cannot get flights to almeria. What are the options from alicante?

Its not too easy getting to san juan if you dont have a car. Exclusive airport shuttles go to vera from alicante and will arrange a taxi for onward journey to San juan. However they only service flights arriving in the morning. A private taxi will be very expensive. Public transport is almost non existant

From alicante, we have only found a bus to cartegena then the bambus to san juan de los terreros.   However the connections are not gŕat but if tou have enough time then it'll be OK.  You could also try the rideshare blablabla.  Not used them at all so don't know if any good.   

There are a number of options.  a train comes into Jaravier, but its closed at the moment for making bigger the line.  

It might be simpler getting to Aguilas.  and remember there is Alsa bus service,  Y9u can use google to book the tickets,  They are cheap and cheerful.  In the summer there is a free bus from murcia to cartagena too.

What month are you arriving, and where in the UK are you flying from ?

Hi there,  I generally get the bus from Alicante to Murcia, then Murcia to Huercal O'Vera.  From there I usually get a taxi, it takes 30-40 mins, Not the easiest place to get to I agree!  Just another option to consider though.....x
