Is it possible to get to Murcia Airport from San Juan de los Torreros via public transport?

Sadly not, as far as I am aware. I think hire car or taxi are only direct options.

I had thought that might be the case. Do you know or could you recommend any car hire agents close to San Juan?

Hi, we have only hired cars from Murcia airport with Goldcar which has been straightforward and competitively priced, but others may know of alternatives.

There is a bus that goes to Cartegena. Might be able to get another bus from there. Check out the Alsa timetables and Baraza and Busbam. We can get one from Los Lobos which I think goes on to San Juan next.

If you can get to cartegena there is a bus from there to the centre of San Juan,
But there is only 1 per day

Have you thought of using exclusive airport shuttles? You could get a taxi from SJ to Vera and then pick up the shuttle bus there.
