Am I right in thinking there is only one bus per day from Almeria Airport to Aguilas (and return)? The times really do not work with my flight times. I do not drive.I really want to visit my friend who lives in St. Juan. Friends of my friend used to pick me up from the airport but they are no longer able to. I would be able to get a lift from Aguilas however.

Thanks for that info. Still unsure about doing it. It looks like I'd have to get service bus from airport to Almeria city then bus to Aguilas. Have I got that right?

yes I think so
Another option could be the executive airport shuttle service. From Almeria airport to Vera Playa then a taxi from VP to San Juan. I think the company will arrange the taxi for you. The bus is reliable and inexpensive but have no idea how much the taxi would cost.
