Thanks, we asked a passing English lady ti show us how she used it, when her card went in, she was given flags to choose her language.

She stayed while we tried and we were not getting this option.

It’s back to the Bank tomorrow 🤪😞🤣

U need to activate card using pin issued with it, then set your own pin.

I have now moved back to the UK, so I haven't used her for the last 6 months, at that time she charged 10e per hour, and she does go that extra mile. she is a lot cheaper than using someone like CATS, and its personal she can answer all sorts of questions. that you will have down the line. She is English but fluent in Spainish. and understands the system.

Thank you, only problem is, they said use the atm to activate it … I can’t use the atm, it was just available in Spanish 😞 no flag to click on, I had an English lady show me how she used it, but my card does not give any english option, the atm worked completely differ

When u insert card, machine asks for pin, this is when you enter code you where given, this will activate card. reject and re enter should bring up in english

Can recommend CATS too.I got my NIE/ now a TIE as well as my Spanish driving licence through them and it make the whole process a lot simpler as believe me Spain is full of bureaucracy and jobsworths.Incidentally Elena is from UK and works in the Cajamar branch in Palomares if you really get into serious difficulties..

We have our NIE Certificates, but I believe we need a TIE as well, is it an identity card? 

Plus Spanish driving licence.
