There always seems to be a turnover of ‘pub/restaurant’ businesses, opening & closing, but worse with the present situation.

This could be a blessing for someone getting in at the bottom, while premises & fittings are cheap and before things take off again.

Bit of a gamble at any time, but now....... Best advice, do your homework.

Good luck

Puff

Your more than welcome and I really do wish you all the best!

I was referring to Spain being bankrupt soon not you!!! Sorry if that was unclear.

If you feel confident then why not have a go? As long as it doesn't ruin you in the process.    ;-)

Ah i thought you meant me going bankrupt how funny.

You know you get to a certain time in your life where you have more years behind than ahead - sometimes regardless of current economic climate you gotta take a leap of faith- worst case move back to the UK -

Faith it is !

I’m surprised you needed to ask on a forum about your future investment.

She was not asking about investment, because she is already qualified in that area.  She was asking about Oria village or other areas.

Hi, feel free and look at the website of Almeria Homes.

https://almeriahomes.com/property/12303/villa-for-sale-in-almeria

It is a little town but everyone from the region knows that restaurant, ... still open and succesfull and a beautiful place to stay.

Grtz,

Eric

Recessions are often the perfect time to launch or invest in new businesses.  Often taking advantage of other people misfortune but that is life.  If you do it correctly no better time and this will in all likely hood be a ‘V’ shaped recession.  Good look with your adventures!
