Hi all,

I’m a teacher of Psychology and Science who has recently moved to the area from the UK. I’m interested in doing some part time work But not sure where teaching jobs would be advertised in Spain. Does anyone know of any teaching vacancies or where I would be best looking out for them? I’m learning Spanish but I’m not great at the minute so that would potentially limit me.

I’m also happy to consider other part time work if there is no teaching work available.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Naomi

I stand to correction, but to work in one of the schools here you need Spanish Education Board qualifications;  I have a friend who is a qualified teacher here and the system is a little different from UK.

You could possibly teach privately, or look for a position in one of the language schools, although they may require at minimum a TEFL to consider you ....

Hi Dario,

I didn’t realise that was the case so thank you for highlighting that to me. I’ll look into the language school option too.

Many thanks for your reply,

Naomi

If you DO need a TEFL just to ease their minds, I can recommend the 120 hour TEFL course from theteflacademy.com - it’s all online and for an experienced teacher it would be a breeze, I’m sure
