I still feel sorry for him.  You can’t Know what he’s been through or where he’s coming from and if you think money makes up ,it can’t, it’s a different thing. I agree they have probably written him off and he has made a mistake , we don’t actually know how long he’s been feeli...

...ng low for,so we can’t judge.

I’m can’t feel sorry for him . He has had every privilege going , best education , straight into a job , no working up from ground crew for him . He didn’t move into little back street 2 up 2 down when he moved to Vancouver island . He has never had to worry about paying the electric bill or putting food on the table . I would imagine if he needed medical or psychiatric help he would have access to the best . He could have quit the royals and led his life with Megan and children without all this nastiness . Why , for money . I know doesn’t guarantee happiness but it can certainly make life more comfortable. Ask anyone struggling to bring up a family or keep warm .

He’s just making sure the (bigger) Americans (market) will love him. And lining his pockets.

I haven’t been watching news programmes in the UK for quite some time with more important matters like Cheltenham Festival and Ireland’s fabulous Rugby Grand Slam going on. Last night I watched BBC News and all the concern about firemen, health workers, train drivers etc which dominated our screens a few weeks ago seems to have evaporated.

I’m thinking Rishi Sunak is getting the message to make Britain progressive again or he’ll be a casualty like Truss etc.

Any thoughts?

Just for the record I thought the England sending off at the Aviva was at most just a penalty offence at most.

I agree with you too and after watching a few youtube vids, I think he has dug himself a hole lol. I will be interested to see how long she sticks him now.

Matt, I agree with your comment on the sending off decision. A great game I thought and well done to Ireland, they deserved it.

I don't watch the BBC, but am disappointed in both Sunak and Hunt. I see Meta has relocated from UK to ROI. In their notification this morning they said it was because the UK had left the EU not mentioning that corporation tax in ROI is 12.5% and their decision came straight after the Globalist Hunt put UK corporation tax up from 19% to 25%. I fear Hunt's short sighted non conservative stupidity will cause many more companies to uproot and move from the UK.

Hi Matthew,

I don’t like the Tory party but Sunak and his Chancellor of the Exchequer seem to be pushing in the direction of closer ties with Europe than his predecessors which Jacob Rees Mogg and his cronies will be trying to derail. The DUP are fighting the Windsor agreement and I’m sure the right wing tories will be supporting them. Sunak is playing a balancing act within his party by trying to appear to be tough on illegal immigrants and he has the right tool in Braverman to push this as far as she can get away with. Are the British people so gullible to vote for a Tory government again after all these years because they are making the right noises for the last 6 months - Probably

Well , jimh, I can’t see the opposition is any better . Starmer stands and promises to cut crime , knife crimes and domestic abuse by 50% . Endless other promises without explanations as to how or costings. I have no faith in any political party in this country at the moment .As for this stupid Rawanda thing it is absolutely absurd . Things don’t seem to rosy in France tho at the moment . Thank goodness I’m the age I am .what my daughters and grandchildren will face in the next half century or so ..

France is a strange country and always has been with mass protests, strikes and people power- France has been trying to raise the pension age for years and credit to Macron for sticking to his guns. If I am not mistaken as you approach within 5 years of retirement you work a day less each year.

I agree with you about Starmer, he does lack charisma but after all these years of corrupt conservative rule surely the people will not give them another mandate

You’re probably right , let some one else have a crack . Things should be a bit more straight forward as brexit has happened and hopefully we won’t have another covid or similar outbreak . The blot on the horizon is still the ongoing war in Ukraine .

I think the U.K. Govt and that’s Any Party has No power at all and Cannot keep any promises they make. It’s all totally laughable and I cannot see the point of discussing any of it. They have No money and we will have no NHS.  It’s all a joke.
