I decided to buy a new car when I first arrived and to give you an idea of budget, 3 bed house plus furniture and white goods together with car and all fees etc approx 80.000 euro. The roads are really good with little traffic. I find the heat on the coast too much and for too long; in my area (Chirivel) its a comfortable 25-about 30 in the summer. with if you are lucky snow at Christmas.

The slight breeze makes the heat comfortable and the house prices are astounding we bought an upside down house with the bedrooms partly in the rock (cooler) for a third of the price of our smaller U.K. house. 30-40 minutes inland makes all the difference.
