To all of you lovely people that have contributed to this thread and this forum, a huge thankyou, there's been a huge amount of useful info and encouragement, and I'm so happy to have finally arrived. I'm slowing down to the Spanish pace of life, and now I've been here a couple of weeks I'm happy to meet up for coffee or drinks if anyone is in the area.
After the journey, the airports and being around lots of people, it felt like a good idea to stay fairly quiet for a couple of weeks, but now I'm ready to socialise a bit more

i Sandra, Maureen J here. So pleased to hear that you have arrived. Hope everything is well. Once you're settled let me know and we can arrange to meet up. Just out of interest, The Roof Garden at the Commercial Centre have a Loose Women meeting every Tuesday afternoon at 1.30pm which begins again on 29th September. We have a good natter and a laugh and arrange days out. It's a good way to meet people. They are currently organising a 4 day trip to Gibralter unless tings change with the virus. Do try and get there if you can and we can arrange to meet. Take care and keep in touch.
