Put your dates into this calculator - it will give you a 100% correct answer.  I put your dates through it and it calculated that as of 9/5/23 you would only have been in the Schengen 65 days out of the allowed 90.

I tried calculator sorry it went all wrong on me but that's about right anything to do with puters .

So basically from the first day in foreign country I am allowed 90 days in 180 counting from first day out there is that right?

If you work it out that way and you go more regularly that way of working out your days will confuse you. It is easier to work back from each return date.

If you are happy with that. That is fine. Should you decide to visit elsewhere in the zone during these periods then that needs counting too. Then it becomes easier to count back from each return date. That 180 days is always rolling.

Counting it forward like you want to do will be difficult. Where will you start your 180 days from when you go on your third and fourth  visit? Count it back from each return date. Keep taking the paracetamol 😂 enjoy your visits.

No problems, it’ll keep you straight without need to do any counting back.  Works perfectly - you can even get a Schengen Calculator app for your phone if you’re needing to calculate numerous trips and don’t want to bother with the website.

The calculators are fine, but it is much better to have an understanding of what is happening.
