Given your wife's health difficulties now is definitely not the best time to return to Spain. Hospitals are completely overstretched simply with caring for people needing ventilators and I suspect that should she is you require help or medical treatment you might have great difficulty accessing it at this moment in time. The people who are replying and telling you to stay where you are are giving you EXCELLENT advice. Please stay put.

If you are still in the UK and I hope you are, then please stay here. I find it hard to believe that you would even consider this. Just put you life on hold and wait for as long as it takes.

With all the problems were all having at the moment I can't believe you're so selfish as to put your wife at such a risk. Be sensible use your brain think and stay in UK...sorry to be so frank but can't understand how people don't understand...don't go out.!!!

As Spain is under look down , traveling within Spain is only permitted to go to one's first place of residence. as they had a lot of problems with people from Madrid coming to there holiday homes ,the moment schools got closed.

And already min.10 days ago they have shut down all camper sides and had asked all campervan to leave and go home....

...

Stay save

Ursula

I fully agree with everyone, Mojacar might be virus free at the moment, but travelling through France, which is high risk, especially with your wife having underlying conditions is not advisable, plus she would have to be in the back of the van, which is not permitted.  Best to stay in UK.  The police are being very strict - not allowed to shop out of your living area - checking how many in car, in some cases where you live - STAY IN UK TILL AT LEAST END OF MAY.

On Wednesday 1st April, we are travelling back to Spain in our camper van, following my wife's medical treatment in the UK. We are Spanish residents so hope there will be no problems crossing the border from France to Spain.

We are little anxious about what will find in Mojacar under lockdown. We are both pensioners....

...

My wife needs a special diet of organic vegetables and glass bottled water. Under normal circumstances I have to travel to various shops and suppliers to obtain these provisions. Is it still possible to travel freely in the area to buy such provisions?

Ha ha..... I cannot believe that you are even asking this question..................... have you not seen the news in the past 4 weeks?????????? You won't be travelling anywhere on 1st April Dave...........................!!!!!!!!!!!
