Well here i was thinking you were a bloke with that foul mouth!!

Obviously you must still be menstruating and we both sympathise with your hormonal plight. Have you not sought medical advice? If not might be advisable to go consult your GP. Apart from that you obviously need some form of psychiatric help for your obvious anger issues. Let us all know if and wh...

...en you have conquered them. Good luck and ole a tus huevos. Regards Spain xxx

I do not have a foul mouth and I find your comments on here disgusting.

Hi All

I'm new here ( tonight ) and thought I'd see what was happening.

I have read all ( I think ) the posts on this topic and actually commented on a couple.

However, what started out as an informing discussion appears to have degenerated into a personal spat between people.

Is this normal? Whatever normal is these days!

So stop reading them!! I equally find your posts insulting and totally unnecessary. We were all having a (like I said before)good healthy discussion before you came along insulting us saying were ignorant, big headed and stupid and referring to me as "that" so it still seems like you've got some sort of issue.

I get on with everybody generally, and have been doing so all the time I've been on this forum, its people like you that tend to ruin these things for everyone.

For a 63 yr old woman it makes it even more childish, grow up and leave the forum!

You’ve heard a lot of talk I imagine about the “new normal” *sigh* it would appear this is it!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I understand that everybodies tempers may be a bit frayed by the current situation, the various lockdowns that we are in and indeed the possibility of, as this topic suggests, a second wave ... however, now that grievances are aired, PLEASE please can we return to reasoned debate? If it gets too personal and angry, Admin will simply lock the topic and no further discussion can be held - that would be a great shame.

Let us all sleep well this night, and return afresh on the morrow.

Les deseo a todos buenas noches | I bid you all a good night

I couldn't agree more Dario! As I said earlier, this was a good healthy debate about a situation that affects us all,and it only takes one idiotic individual to ruin it for us all.

Que vayan todos con dios! Y que salgamos de esto sanos y salvos.

Buenas noches

If you stay away I'm sure we will all be fine!

Had enough of you for one day! So negative, and for the good of who exactly?

Well done Dario and all the others that liked our "ignorant" Spanish conversation.

That's it

There are common themes when the debate on here becomes personal.  In other threads too.  By that, I mean the individuals concerned.

And strangely, it is usually those who want to promulgate some weird conspiracy theory that seem to end up becoming insulting.

At the risk of returning to the subject, some statistics, but before I begin (to avoid others having to type):

1. ‘There are lies, damned lies and statistics’

2. 72% of all statistics are made up on the spot (my favourite)

The UK overtook Italy with the death count (i.e. number of deaths) yesterday

Deaths per million population: UK: 433, Italy: 485, Spain: 553, Belgium: 720

Weird?

However, Boris and Co are talking about easing measures.  Why does my head hurt every time I read the news at the moment?  Is there some logic to this that simply eludes me?  The best I can currently come up with is ‘at least we aren’t in the US’ but that is wearing thin.

Spanish version of the above available on request, albeit a touch ‘pigeon’.

Yoy're right Fresh. Boris is getting cocky (and he has nothing to be cocky about). I could be resurrecting my thread Boris Johnson - Falling Down on the Job.

For a start, there is less animosity there.
