Hi

We’re residents here with an account at Cajamar and with NatWest back in the uk - no issues at all, they have our address here for correspondence. I do use our Natwest account now and then - very handy when family birthdays in the uk need sorting! Shop on amazon uk, have it gift wrapped and sent directly to the recipient! Useful as well when we pop back to see family, no changing money up - as long as you use a couple of times a year you won’t have a problem

WEvwere only discussing this yesterday and we were under the impression that you couldn’t have an English bank account if you lived abroad.

Very useful to know. Another worry ticked off the list

My mother is back living in the UK and still has a US bank account.  As long as there is some kind of monies being deposited into the account or even just sitting in the account,  they will not close acct.
