Hi Lyn,

Yes that is what we now do, they ring my translator, or they are suppose to, the last time they still rang me, luckily I was in the house, but the person that rang, had no patience what so ever, luckily my translator was actually at the hospital so managed to sort it out. What a Palaver!!!

Wonderful for you Jenni but as you live in Spain presumably not much good unless you can find a fellow signer.  I've finally got my appointment at the health centre thanks to my lovely neighbours both of whom are English teachers and rang up for me. I watch sky news in the mornings  which have a written headlines underneath, then we buy an English paper as well.  So keep up that way.

Hi Lyn,

I think you are under the misapprehension that I am hard of hearing. and I can see why you would assume that, but my hearing is fine, I complained about the lack of signing because I just cant stand discrimination of any kind.

Lyn, I think you meant the "wrong end of the stick" and you're right.
