Nice to hear from you

We bought ours through Cole’s and they have been brilliant and very helpful.how far are you on the buying process bit different from England (Ireland )?

We are now back in the uk 😔 wet and cold lol.I have been told we get snow sometimes in the region and can get very cold, but who cares lol

When did you start buying yours it sounds hugh and very nice,we are on the Calle San Jose road carol

Hi we have a holiday home also on Calle San Jose! You have bought the house opposite ours off our good friend. We are here now for two weeks. We love this village as its definitely one off the best. There is a small bar in the village and a large hotel just outside the village. That's were we walk in the evenings for a drink. They also do food and have live bands playing. Baza is about 20 minutes away. There you will find every shop you need including furniture shops, electrical shop, Mercadona, Lidl, Burger King and loads of Chinese bazar shops where we have spent hours! Our village is very peaceful and you have two of the nicest people as neighbours. In Velez Rubio you will find a beautiful church, a Spar and a ginormous swimming pool with smaller kids pools and slides with a bar and restaurant. Take your lawn chairs and spend the day. The next town is Velez Blanco has a stunning castle and is free to go in with the most amazing views.

Let me know if you need anymore information and hopefully we can meet for a drink one day

Morning Carol ,

Sadly I'm back in very wet Ireland . I went over for a few days in the New Year as I thought I'd better see the house in person before there was no turning back (still cant believe I bought it based on a video) . Anyhow it thankfully lived up to the video and I loved it even more in person . Need...

...s some TLC as it has been empty for a while and a kitchen (at some stage) but it is like a tardis  .It looks very nondescript from the out side but is huge  inside (4 Double bedrooms , dining room , terraces, patios etc) with the most beautiful 360 degree views from the sun terrace . Way more space than I need really . The Estate Agents were ...Coles of Andalucia . They do amazing videos and virtual tours of their properties and were extremely helpful throughout.

It is scary but I am really looking forward to getting to know the area and the locals . I too have heard that there is a small bar/tavern in the village but I was there early morning so I didn't spot anything open . Hopefully its not like Brigadoon and only appears every one hundred years. Not to worry .....you'll be welcome to mine for a drink or two once we all get settled.

Stay in contact and let me know how your plans are progressing . All the best.

Fiona

Hi Fiona

You have definitely chosen a beautiful village! We are in the village now at our holiday home. Look forward to meeting you when you move here. Is it a holiday home or permanent home?
