Thanks for that. Initially will use the house (assuming all goes well) as a holiday home then we intend to retire down there in next couple of years all being well so nice to know there are other brits about, not that we want to be in their pockets.

We are down for a couple of days in March, staying at the Lorenzo as we want to see the village at night. Is there a local taxi service? We are having a hire car but will leave it at the hotel so we can have a drink in the village if there is a taxi.

Sorry for the late reply sarah.we now have a property in el contador😊 planning to move there in a couple of years.but for now its our holiday home.was over there in august for a couple of weeks getting the feel of things.what a lovely village it is.

It is beautiful! Whereabouts I the village are you? I know one on the square recently sold.
