Oh I love that house! We viewed that one but bought one around the corner. My brother in law wanted to view yours but was told it had sold that day!  Like I say snooze you lose! 

We were supposed to go in October on the ferry but it has been cancelled 😞.

We also intend to move there in a few years and really can't wait!

Strangely enough , we asked to view that house as well with a view to using it as a rental, but were told it had been reserved that day! Looked a lovely property online!

It's crazy! When we viewed it 3years ago it had been on the market for years. I believe that two musicians had bought it but we're unable to find work. The house that we bought had been on the market for 4 year's! A lot of house's there have had work done on them in the last couple of years and it's great having the hotel just outside the village.

Still waiting for  paperwork to be sorted on the house, to do with catastral not matching. 

So not been down yet, hoping to drive down with a wagon in new year, depending on restrictions obviously.

The house on the square looked lovely and would have been ideal for a rental. But we’ll keep our ears open for something similar at some point, main thing is to get ours sorted!

Can’t wait to get down there, hopefully within next 12 months as we have just signed a contract on our pub which is subject to planning, so fingers crossed!

Hi Trevor and Austin how are things going with the house? We haven't been to the village since February! Thank goodness we have a good neighbor who checks the house for us! Fingers crossed that we all get there some time this year.                   Keep Safe

We haven’t been down since last March!

The contact is signed just the paperwork to be updated still! Cathie from Almeria Property Finders has a key to the house so is keeping an eye on it.

Just wish things would settle down so that we can get our stuff down there. And at least spend a couple of nights in the house.

The house is ready to move into but needs a kitchen and a bloody good clean! Everything else is mainly cosmetic.

 Can’t wait to get down there. We’ve got all the paperwork together for residentia. So hopefully that will be fairly straightforward lol.

The formal planning application will be going in on our property soon so fingers crossed as the pub trade is not good at the moment!

Hope you are both keeping well. What's happening with your move at the moment? Have you managed to get to the village since last year?

We have booked the ferry in September so fingers crossed!

Hi Sarah

No we haven’t been down since March last year! We are due to fly down next Monday until the Friday to move our furniture into the house, it went down there about 6 weeks ago!

Depends what Boris changes this week as to whether we still go down as we couldn’t quarantine on return due to the business, However, our planning application is due to be decided this Friday, so IF it passes, the quarantine would become a moot point really as we would basically shut up shop more or less immediately so Everything crossed!

If that happens we would hope to be down there before end of August but not counting our chickens.

we’ll keep you informed either way.

We are now fully papered and legal residents for the next 5 years. 

With the NHS paying for our medical care as we are retired.
