Hi, the Wefferent account sounds great. Just one question do Cajamar swap your direct debits for you as a UK bank would or do you need to reset them up yourself?

The adviser in our Cajamar bank changed them to come out of the Wefferent account for us. Any new ones I've done myself online. 

Great, thanks for the advice, would we have to pay a certain amount into the account every month to qualify for the free account?

I have a small pension of £49 paid on monthly, but it's not necessary. Here's a link for you, which is helpful. It does say you can apply on line, but if you're hesitant then a Cajamar adviser can help you.

You have Cuevas del Almanzora as your location. We live in Los Lobos and Cuevas is our main shopping town. Perhaps we could meet up?

I'm coming out in September, anyone have experience of IberCaja? + or -? Used them last year when I was in Mojacar and found them helpful but didn't open an account there.

Very interesting your post. I am in the same situation than you. I transfer money from Uk every month. However, now with UK out of the EU, Sabadell Started to charge me a commission fee of €18 each month. Do you have same charge? Do you know any way to avoid that fee? Do you know if all the banks now charge this commission fee?
