Aaaaaaaaaaand you didn’t read the rest.  “Recombinant” in this case does not mean “Recombinant DNA”, which is not normally used in manufacture of Biopharmaceuticals, but recombinant PROTEIN, which is.

Recombinant protein is NOT recombinant DNA. Different beast entirely.

Dario; i think of the 43,000 odd people on which the virus was tested, 94 developed Covid-19 but only 9 of these were from the vaccinated group, the other 85 were in the control group.  9/94 was the relative effectiveness of the vaccine as reported.

Given your usual meticulousness about scientific papers, I am sure it was a minor mistake.

Ah-HA - many many thanks for that correction.  I only briefly saw the test results being mangled by someone trying to claim the vaccine had a 0,2% effectiveness and didn't research further.

I have to admit - the constant bombardment on social media of how the vaccine companies are lying about results, about how the vaccine will change your DNA (*snort*), about how Covid is fake, that it's a conspiracy of all governments working together (*BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA*), about how its not a virus but caused by 5G .... it seems the only thing that spreads faster than whatever the hell it is is the utter craziness that comes from the platform social media gives to people .... and those desparate enough or frightened enough or crazy enough to buy into it - then going around saying "WAKE UP PEOPL" ( I HATE that f&%$&/g phrase!!) "DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH" ... without actually "waking up" themselves OR doing their OWN research!!  Apparenbtly if you see a meme on facebook then watch someone with no clue yelling loudly on YouTube ... that's now classed as "research" ..... *sigh* 

They probably dont want to do their own research, they are happy being told what to do when instead of making up their own minds, thats their prerogative surely.  Why do you get so upset at what your read, on facebook and utube, stay off them, I do, cos I know its all gonna be gibberish. Not worth getting upset over.
