On May 6th this year, I will be visiting Mojacar for 2 weeks, It is my 25th visit.

I first came to Mojacar in November 1989, We flew in from Luton, but each

flight since has been from Manchester. I have done the journey twice by road

via Plymouth to Santander. I stay at Indabella 1, get my food and drink items

from Thomas,s Supermarket, and sometimes have a snack or a meal at Badgers.

If I was a Millionaire, I wouldnt want to go anywhere else, I just love Mojacar.

Cheers, Ray.

Getting away from the King's coronation is a good idea Ray and if Mojacar is your happy place where better to be.  You will find that some of your favourite places may not be there now and some new ones may have opened. At least the sun should be shining again by then so enjoy your time here while you can.

That's lovely to hear Ray, and I totally agree with you.

I've been going to Mojacar for nearly twenty years now, and still love it.

I'll be there the same time as you, love May and September best.  May bump into you in Thomas's.

Enjoy your holiday.

Sue

I doubt you will be able to get away from the coronation celebrations anywhere where there are british people living/staying.

Hi Alicia, Thank you for your words, I actually booked my next visit to Mojacar within 7 days of

returning from there last September, quite a while before the Kings Coronation date was known.

If the U.K. had not lost membership of the European Union because of the Brexit deal, I would

be living in Mojacar full time, This arrangement of 90 days to visit, following by 90 days of going

somewhere else does not make any sense. I am looking forward to May 6th. Best  regards, Ray.

Hi Sue, Thank you for your lovely words. Apart from just a few, My Mojacar visits are always

in May and September. I will be on the 0605 a.m. flight on May 6th, and by 1215 lunchtime

I will be in Levante having a light lunch and a couple of Cerveza`s.  Cheers, Ray.

Wow you certainly love Mojacar Ray, I should imagine you have seen many changes since your 1st visit. I’m a newbie so to speak as I’ve only been living here since September 2020, I only visited once for a weeks holiday in 2018. I live about 3 mins walk from Badgers, opposite Tito’s.

Ray 1989 has 'only' 25 visits.  Our first visit was in May 1985 and has regularly been twice a year since, May and September, each for a stay of about four weeks, except in 1996 due to illness, and the first lockdown in 2020, when we only went once.  We used to drive through France both ways but when Covid prevented entry into France we were forced into using the ferry to Santander or Bilbao.  Age and driving conditions for 1320 door-to-door miles have taken their toll so the drive excluding the miles in France makes the journey more leisurely.  If my calculations are correct our visit to Mojacar in May will be Number 75.
