Newbie here ...that's to Mojacar/Garrucha and the Forum.

I was a bit of a mystery shopper for a few years, visiting and just taking in what was going on and have since Jan 2015 been an owner in the region mentioned. I have met many a friendly expat and Spanish locals and love the place.

After the initial struggles, trials and tribulations I have now settled in and now adding some little toys rather than all the must have,s.

So has anyone had any dealings with Gocciaspa.com as I am thinking of installing a small one of these.

PS. I recently met and shared a flight back to Gatwick with someone called Jan from the Vera area who recommended "Victors Bar" to me for Sports and Beers and I recommended "Austin Kaye" in the Strand London for watches.

So if the same person uses or owns this Forum then I found Victors, met him and his son Jake and very nice people they are too.

How did you get on with the watch !!...lol.

hello, i am looking for somewhere local to Mojacar where i can purchase some garden furniture covers

Has anyone used a car hire company that is honest!

My last hire was from Goldcar at Alicante airport. The car was fine and they agreed I did not have to take the extra insurance to cover their excess (I have a annual policy for this) but they said they would "block" €1,300 from my credit card which was fine with me.

However they took the money and after the car was returned undamaged and full with fuel the refunded they made a few days later when I was back in UK was €59 less than they took.

I have emailed asking why but - no reply....

Have other people had similar experiences?

The water pressure to my apartment seems to be very high.

It has burst 2 shower hoses and constantly blows my plant watering system apart!

Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know if a pressure reducing valve can be fitted by a local plumber?
