I read somewhere that the UK is allowing EU citizens to double up their 90 day allowance and stay in the UK for 180 days and then leave for 180 days . Is there any talk of the EU reciprocating this ? I’m interested in buying a property in Spain to avoid the worst of the British weather however my understanding is that after 90 days I would have to leave the EU , meaning I could not spend all the bad British  weather in Spain without applying for residency which I do not want to do

We’ve been plagued by wasps in and around our pool. We’ve destroyed a number of nests and tried wasp traps and a liquid (Diavispas) which you put on the surface of the water. Nothing has made the slightest difference. 

There are always 20 or so wasps sitting on the surface of the water and pestering swimmers. if we kill them another load appear within minutes! 

We are at our wits end and close to giving up on the pool as it’s a lot of work with no reward!

Has anyone else experienced this problem and managed to solve it? 

Hi all

We have received our passports back with the NLV and will shortly be flying to Spain from the UK.  Not sure what the next part of the process is?  We are in the Almeria region and believe that we need to obtain a TIE as the NLV is only valid for first 3 months - how do we get the TIE?  What process do we have to follow?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
