Looking ahead of our offer acceptance on a place today (yippee!) I just wanted to enquire about driving licenses. Can you have two?
I think my wife and I will be applying for Residencia within a month of ownership and certainly within one month of going on the Padron (I recall a post from Darius on this). We are under state retirement age so am aware of private medical and proof of income, although not of minimum amounts.
We plan to buy a Spanish car here and register for tax purposes too. I understand that we will have to 'give up' our UK licenses for Spanish ones but are worried where this leaves us when returning home and driving our UK car re insurance, police etc when visiting family etc. Also, does Spain require UK resident to have medicals etc to keep the licence etc when one reaches a certain age?

We have purchased a 3m long retractable sun canopy. We don’t have the power tools to attach it ourselves. Hence we would like a handyman to do this for us, my husband will be there to help Or we are wondering if anyone can tell us where we can hire power tools from.
We would like this job doing between 5th and 9th of May
I hope someone can help
Thanks

Does anyone know where I can get a pizza oven? Decent quality so probably not the ones outside Brico in Antas? Ideally modular for access (narrow gate to get pieces through). I’m looking for a largish (domestic, not commercial) brick or cement one, not the metal units.
Thanks. And I know it won’t be cheap

We visited Velez Rubio last month in our motorhome and liked the town. We liked it so much we viewed property in the area and found somewhere we both liked. Our only concern was the distance to the beach and transport links to airports / major towns etc. We have worked out we could move over permenantly and retire early (I'm 48 and my better half is 42). What do people do on a day to day basis to keep themselves occupied. We realise finding work in the area would be a non starter but we don't want to just sit in the apartment everyday going stir crazy.

Hi. We have just moved here permanently, and currently have a black metal staircase. We would like to change this for a wooden one. Does anybody know of anyone that could do this for us, or recommend a place we go and order one. I also have a white oak table with a deep scratch that needs a repair. Many Thanks.
