Hi Paul,

We went over a couple of months a go to view the properties but were put off as no one can be sure when the maintenance company will be set up. Lots of the owners need to paint the external of their properties the ones that have done look good but many haven’t that are owned already. The houses on the same site are also very run down and I personally thought they brought the site down. Id love to see everything sold and the whole site completed but for me it was just a little too much to be done anytime soon and without a lot of money which would take a while to collect from owners.

These are only my personal options though plenty have brought as you can see on this forum.

Good luck

J

Hi j, Paul ,

Management company is up and running and are collecting €€€  money from all owners to start work on lifts/outdoor electrics/fire extinguishers etc.pool is due to be open  for next year...apartments inside do not have kitchen fitted or lights or shower screen..these are all extra..we looked at loads of apartments and these are in a great location and are best value for size of apartment you get..... unfortunately this is the pool at the moment 😂

Hope this info is of some help to you .

Regards

Tre

Thanks everyone for your views on the development. Its a great help to us. Can I ask, are there many British/Irish in the village? Its always helpful when you're settling in to a new place

Hi Paul

We’ve been here since March - we don’t live in the village itself, just outside it in the campo. We love it here, and there’s definitely a growing band of English and Irish. We’re here all year round having sold up in the UK. The locals are really friendly and helpful and I even advised the local shop to make sure they have proper tea in stock now!

Best thing to do is come over and get a feel for the place.

Hi Paul

We are from Dublin,Ireland.

We are not planning to move down as yet as we are still both working and kids still attending school...but hope use apartment several time throughout next year.

We are driving down in October as we now (thankfully)have a direct ferry from cork to Santander.

Unfortunately we can’t get down to illar until October,as we had holidays in August already booked and paid for.

Looking forward to October and hopefully meeting Neighbors / villagers

Next year we Are flying down in February and driving down in April .

Regards

Hi Paul

Can I just echo everything Trev has told you.

These apartments are excellent value for money, considering you couldn't buy a mobile home for the same amount.

My advice is Go For It

Regards

Nigel
