As above titled, just realised I will need this to purchase a car when we arrive in August, does anyone know if this can be done online with the town hall, or is it a case of pop in when we get there? Thanks in advance

Jen Jen we have always had to supply an up to date padron and we've bought 3 new cars from the same garage now.

We have always needed a padron when purchasing our cars.
It is available from the local town hall. You will need your passport and proof of residence in the town/village, ie. a rental agreement or your house deeds.

I can only speak for Terreros/ Pulpi, yes under normal circumstances. Or at least the last time I applied for one, although it was a renewal.
I wouldn’t have thought it would take more than a few days though.
