Hello All,

I am looking at a villa in Illar and wanted to ask the forum a few questions if that's ok!

How many months is the community pool open?

Does anybody else rent their houses/apartments out for holiday lets?

Are there any activities for children (parks etc.) nearby?

Thanks

Leila

Hi , The Village pool is usually open for Four months of the year ,but of course

it could be sooner for us residents ,if the schools are postponed until Sept....

Are you looking for a certain property in the pueblo?

Make a sensible offer and good luck ...ok

Hello Leila

We are in process of buying a villa in Illar, just waiting for some restrictions to be lifted, for the purchase to complete. It's a lovely little village, we like it because of its proximity to everything we love, 5 mins up the road for great twisty motorcycle roads, 5 minutes to off road mountai...

...n bike or hiking trails, about 30 mins to Almeria, for beaches, large shopping centre etc, and if you dont want to go far from the village there are all the little shops and local market, for necessities. When we looked previously there are a few properties which are rented out on booking.com and also air b &b to give you an idea on potential income, if you were to rent out your property.  We cant wait to move out permanently (fingers crossed for end of year). Gill

Thank Gill!

Leila

Its actually on right move now with an up to date video to watch, it's in need of a refurb, so a bit of money to spend on it. Also no sun at all on your porch or front garden, due to aspect. You could put roof terrace in at extra cost of the side balcony. The village is very nice though.
