We were buying in Tijola but lost out on our choice. However, when being shown by the agent he pointed accross the fields and advised us of a very good wine producer in the area.

Are there any local to Zurgena that you can suggest? Or, good bodegas to purchase our wine.

buy all our wine in the supermarkets they have good choices and reasonable prices.  if you want to buy from a merchant then there isn't any in the Zugena area as far as I know.  if you have transport then Pulpi is the best Bodega or the Hotel Tikar in Garrucha which has a wine tasting experience.

if you get the chance then visit Jumilia as that is a wine producing area with lots of bodegos to visit with interesting tours wine tasting etc when things get back to normal that is.
