Hi all, I’m in the U.K. at present and I’m worrying about my IBI . Does anyone know the email for the Town Hall, so I can ask them to forward my bill by email, then presumably I can then pay by card.
Any advice greatly received

please let me know how you get on as I am trying to get a direct debit set up - my lawyer said go to my bank - my bank said go to Ayuntamiento de Almeria - so I went to HO town hall who directed me to a building near the vets and Repsol but after walking and asking locals where the IBI building is - no one seemed to know..I have found out that the locals I asked didn’t know as they mostly rent and you only pay IBI if you own a property! Anyway on my next visit this month I will continue my quest and I will let you know how to set up a direct debit and where the impuestas building is hiding as I expect Zurgena IBI will be administered in Huercal Overa also?

Hi Champ. We are in Bedar. We went to the townhalll in Bedar and got the details from them and then to the Cajamar,our bank , and handed it in. That was that. I would never think you had to go to Almeria!

This is exactly what we were told to do as well by the town hall. Just take the bill to the bank and they would set it all up

Yes I did that in Zurgena last time, unfortunately I’m stuck in the U.K. at the mo 😢

If you set up the direct debit last year with the bank it will automatically be paid this year

The office in HO is as described above, think its the second from left hand end, there is a small sign adjacent. you will need address and nie, they produce bill, give them your e mail address and they forward direct following year. Take the bill and pay at bank. I,m in uk and have strugled on line due to lack of spanish.But heading out by ferry on 18th.
