Apparently the number of MPs that are retiring/not contesting their seats is no more than in other election years.

A labour (Marxist) anti-Semitic / SNP coalition, I could not think of anything worse, heaven help the UK were that scenario be played out. As for having 3.5 years to see what BREXIT would mean, I think you will find that the Leave resolve, along with many of those who voted remain, has hardened considerably given the uncompromising not to say bullying and down right intransigence of the Eurocrats, but you are right, they can see what BREXIT will bring, a saving of £390 million, gross, per week, restoration of a Sovereign Parliament, the ability to strike up trade deals around the world with out EU interference, the return of UK waters to UK Fishermen and women, the introduction of a fair immigration policy, etc etc. I fear however that the Boris WA is nought but a watered down May botch up so I doubt they will get it all unless there is a massive 'leave' parliament elected which might not be possible as the way it stands at the moment there is, in my opinion, a chance that the Tory and BREXIT Party vote will be split in such away that they will leave the door open for a Labour Victory.

We can but hope for a Labour victory, for indeed Tis the only way to save the country from yet more Tory greed and incompetence.
As for the “saving £390.000.000” - you do know that was completely and utterly refuted don’t you? Yet one more lie from Johnson in pursuit of his goal. Given Trump has tried to interfere in UK elections and effectively endorsed Johnson, hopefully that will kill off any chance he had. As for parliamentary sovereignty, that’s debatable and a bit of a joke given Johnson has spent the last 99 days trying to circumvent and obfuscate that very sovereignty
Perfect campaign slogan.
"VOTE DONALD'S CHOICE"
Somehow I seem to think that endorsement will be more Albatross .....

Dario,
Read again my post, the U.K. payment is currently £390 million ‘gross’ and that’s a fact. As for a Presidential interference in U.K. politics I remember a certain Obama doing exactly the same thing in 2016. Johnson has managed to get a ‘deal’ with the EU, not that I think it any better than Mays, but it has been the LibDems, SNP and Labour who have voted it down time and time again. Guess you must have been watching something else?

Yup. Denial. It ain’t just a river in Egypt ....
Andy - So presidential interference. Out of bounds when it favours remain (Pres. Obama) but completely fine when it favours a lying verminous dog turd?
Johnson has a “deal” that is so bad it is blatantly obvious to all but the most willfully blind that he has no intention of negotiating a trade deal by end of period and crashing out on WTO terms, as he has wanted all along. Why do you think “The Spartans” who were so firmly against Mays deal suddenly came on board with Blobby? They’ve been promised their hearts desires. BoJo is a snake and cannot be trusted.

My sincere apologies - “tory snake who cannot be trusted”
It wouldn’t surprise me if BoJo was proxy for trump. The orange blobby bastard would love to splice and dice the UK services to his own profit..... his endorsement of both BoJo and “Oswald Ernald” Farage tells you all you need to know about that!
