It`s o.k. for you to tell me to get a life, I then tried to help you by telling you to get a dictionary to learn the meaning of slander and to check what you have written before posting, you then childishly insult me and and finish the post with some nonsense that you don't finish for reasons only you may know I certainly don't, and I won't waste any more of my time responding to your poorly written insults. Bye Bye

I think it is you who needs to go away and research “slander”, and how it is *not* slander when written, but libel.  It is also only libel if it is a) not actually verifiably true and; b) not placed in the public interest.

Seeings you seem determined to demonstrate your ignorance though, and have raised the subject of out-of-date medication, I shall tell you of a friend of mine who takes in / looks after animals.  She has around 30, 5 cats, three dogs, terrapins, hamsters, ferrets, gerbils … you name it.  She absolutely loves animals, and she knows her stuff.

Four weeks ago, she was given two three day old kittens.  She needed formula urgently to feed them, as she didn’t have enough for both kittens and so she procured it from a vet she doesn’t normally use.

She used the remaining formula she had to feed one kitten.  She used the new batch she had just obtained to feed the other. She then thought to check the date …. Well and truly out of date.  She had to rush out to her normal vets to get an in date formula.

The kitten initially fed with the out of date formula contracted an upset stomach, became weak, and died….

She is 5 minutes walk from the vet that sold her the out of date formula.

She lives in Vera, close to the bull ring.  Her normal vet is in Garrucha.  I’ll leave you to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Before you embarrass yourself further and start screaming “slander” again, please go revisit point (a) above

You really are a  Dario fan " Well said Dario " " Once again well said Dario " you would think with almost 4ooo posts there can't be many topics he hasn't commented on  and I'm sure he has given good advice on many occasions, however for the most part they are his opinion and or quotes from other people and it's a proven fact that the more a story is told it becomes less truthful, he obviously has a dislike for a certain vet because he believes they failed to treat his cat correctly he now believes his friend and repeats his accusations, the few posts I have seen of his he seems to know everything about everything he certainly gives the impression he doe's, a recent post when someone wanted advice on internet phones he went on and on and probably confused the person anyone with a little knowledge would have answered in two sentences ( and no I will not get drawn into what are they) like his post that started all this off the lady asked if anyone knew of a vet that would register her dogs here but she lives in the U.K. ( I'm not sure that's legal but I don't know ) he is happy with his vet now and another so why not just say those two because he is hell bent on telling as many people as possible about a bad experience, and then your friend has the nerve to tell me the definition of slander, what did he do about his experience with the vet ? I have never been more than a few weeks without a dog in all my 79 years and I have had occasions to change vets because they had in my opinion not treated my pet in the way that was right but I always try to compare a vet to a doctor a doctor only has to learn about one body but a vet has many and no one can please all of the people all of the time and surely your friend who knows so much about everything should know that to err is human to forgive divine. probably not. As for you describing me as not helpful, aggressive likes to fight everyone and has no understanding of the english language, I speak my mind I do not like  people who think they know it all and like even less people that agree with them all the time. You haven't got a clue.

Ooh ad hominem attacks Ray - you know you have lost your way when you have to attack advice given that you haven’t actually read (or understood)

But your rambling discourse on my reasons for disliking a certain Vet do your credibility no favours - you insisted it was “slander” so I merely pointed out why it wasn’t.  You clearly have no idea what it is, so it needed explaining.  Incidentally, to further reinforce your lack of knowledge, I again point out it is “libel” when written, “slander” is oral - and even then, only when untrue.

If, though, you *really* insist on pursuing this debate here Ray, I can provide many many other examples of why I stated what I did, initially.  Do yourself a favour, back away gracefully before you embarrass yourself further.

Incidentally, the internet phones question? Well if you’re only prepared to give very basic answers, and not advice born of experience (and technical ability, given my experience as a Cisco CCNA) then that says more about you than me … I think it would actually say you don’t understand the question.

Your friend with the kittens has her reasons to use the Garrucha vet and not the local one, she could have given the kittens half each of her formula then got more from her vet ( I will never again use the Garrucha vet and have good reason but unlike you I understand that vets like doctors and everyone else make mistakes) I simply took my business elsewhere, and 3 day old kittens without mothers milk have a slim chance but you took her story to add to your negative comments about the Vera vet if your friend had done the same as I would have and not used that vet on principle both kittens might have survived though it's doubtful, You advising me to back away tells me you are talking rubbish if you had many many as you put it other examples of poor treatment from a vet or any other business they would be out of business if your claims were true and you had done something about it, as I told your friend " mr. well said dario" to err is human to forgive divine. Since your first post in 2017 you have averaged more than 16 posts a week over 2 a day every day and your friend told me to get a life.
