The owners retired at the beginning of the year after building the business over about 15 years. A younger couple took over the lease but decided to close the business about two months ago. The lease is currently up for sale.

I am sorry to hear this restaurant is closed. The food there was always excellent and beautifully presented. The couple running the eatery live in Mojacar and are very nice people. The artwork in Los Conteros was an attraction too.

Cokkia in Mojacar serves very good lamb shoulder. It is next to Sottocasa and opposite Neptuno on the Paseo. Has music evenings as well which are very pleasant, especially in the summer under the shade of a large tree.
