No, the point is you can’t because you are driving uninsured … which is illegal.
EDIT: From Guardia Civil via ITV San Javier. NO. Car May not be driven on the road with an expired ITV. There is nothing in Spanish traffic law that permits a vehicle with an expired ITV to be driven on the road for the purpose of attending an ITV. As per my original post, it must be trailered.
