What was the point of this? Taking vaccines from other people if you don’t mind me saying.

I don't accept your logic. I'm resident in Spain so desperately want to be vaccinated here for my own benefit and also for everyone else's. Visiting the UK, they are desperate to vaccinate, don't have any supply issues, and will vaccinate anyone who walks in. So where's the problem? Have you had a vaccine? By your logic I guess you stole it from someone else. So yes, I do mind you saying.

I haven’t been able to get a vaccine in Spain as a British citizen even though I live here, so no, I haven’t been vaccinated yet, but am going back to the uk permanently next week, so will get vaccinated ASAP. I don’t see why you would need to be double vaccinated twice, and actually wonder whether it’s medically safe to do so? Or was it just to get out of quarantine? I certainly don’t understand your logic in wanting to be double vaccinated, twice!!

Hi
I had my first one in Spain at the beginning of May and my second in U.K. on 16 July. I asked whether it was possible to do this from my U.K. GP and phoned 119 and was assured it was both legal and safe to do this. However , my NHS app only shows my second one and my Spanish Salud record only shows my first one (batch number is missing). I’m in the process of finding out if I can amalgamate the two or whether I need to prove both separately for travel.
It has caused confusion but I wanted it done ASAP as the U.K. numbers were rising fast.

Yes, but is it wise to get 2 lots of 2 jabs from a health perspective? And why would you waste NHS vaccines if you’ve already had them in Spain? You surely don’t need 4 injections?! I think you miss my point. It’s nothing to do with borders or jurisdictions, it’s to do with it being totally unnecessary.

Hi. My partner had her first in UK in February and second in Spain in May. Spanish nurse took down her details from first jab and added them to their records. Haven’t as yet downloaded her details from Salud app.

Thanks for this…. I’ll go in to my health centre and see what they say.

Interesting, did you suffer with any symptoms by having two in each country?

No problems at all. I had no reaction whatsoever with the AZ in the UK, although I hear that many people do suffer flu-like symptoms. The only ill-effect from the Biontech/Pfizer here in Spain was short term muscle pain around the needle site, which I understand is normal.
