I was chase by a herd of cows as a child, good job I could run fast,  so now I wont cross a field with cows in, they are far too curios for my liking.

Warble flies can entice cattle to "stampede" and if  warble flies could affect humans we'd stampede too.

As requested Alicia , are the camper vans still parked up on the same stretch of beach and anyone know if they are the same ones or just people on the move enjoying the country . Is it legal to travel around from province to province now .

Regional borders are still closed, but now (largely) able to travel within the province.  As far as I am aware, here in Vera we are still Level 2, so restricted to our province.

The State of Alarm ends 9th May, and despite requests from a few regions to renew or extend it, Pedro Sanchez has said he is committed to not extending past 9th May.  He has stated he wants to see regional borders open.  Now what the regions can do outside of the State of Alarm seems to be a murky area, with arguments by many legal experts.  Most are in agreement that the regions CANNOT impose a curfew, but CAN regulate amount of people allowed to gather and opening hours of shops.  Whether they have the legal force to maintain closure of regional / provincial borders absent the State of Alarm is a very grey area.  Given at least 4 regions, Andalucía included, want to maintain the State of Alarm, you can guarantee that Andalucía will be one of the regions to test their legal force.

However, Motorhomes etc continue to move, as do foreign plated vehicles - I have seen French, Belgian, German and yes, UK plated vehicles arriving at our urbanización over the past couple of days.  I have also noticed a Spanish plated but Madrid ITV'd car come and go as well (how do I know it was a Madrid ITV? Bugger was nicking my parking spot so I had a jolly good look!!)

I still maintain there is less to fear from the motorhomers who are by nature fairly solitary, than the foreign plated (and out of region) cars bringing families into an urbanización, and who are then mingling with others

Good one Dario , I knew I would get the lowdown from you . So andaluc’ia is a big region it must have many provinces as it stretches from the Atlantic, Cadiz and Jerez to Murcia . Where you confined by regions , provinces or town to town . We where just advised not to travel , essential only . Rother our local area where I lived in Battle only recorded one in 100,000 today . Eastbourne 9.4 in 100,000 . Let’s hope it continues to stabilise now shops and bars open to a degree.

Andalucía is one of the largest of the regions (and formerly the stronghold of the Moorish, the last to be liberated during the Reconquista), It stretches from the border of Portugal in the West across to San Juan de los Terreos on the East coast and down to Gibraltar.  It is pretty much "the South of Spain" in it's entirety more or less (shared of course with Murcia) Bordering Andalucía, Castile La Mancha is huge as is Castile y Leon to the North.

At the moment, we have both Regional (i.e. border with Murcia, Extremadura and Castilla - La Mancha) closed and Provincial (Granada / Almería / Malaga etc) closed. We are out of the Municipal lockdowns now thankfully - although I'm not sure too many people took a lot of notice ... I go to fill my car up at my closest fuel station 1km from me and I cross from Vera to Antas !! Although there ARE some towns - i.e. Benamaural - that are still subject to Municipal border closure.

I've found https://www.mapacovid.es/ to be of great help in figuring out what level / border closures etc

WAKE UP BIGGLES !!!

I totally agree with Matthew.

You were in your car... OK.

BUT, you were talking to a policeman without a mask on. The law says that you have to wear a mask at all times in public places !!!

If you had your window closed then ok, but you couldn't have had your window shut as you were talking to the police.  You were EXTREMELY lucky that you were not fined.

You are they type of person who just thinks you are above the law.

There are numerous people who have been fined for not wearing their masks in their cars when being stopped to check that they have not left their locality during the lockdowns. So be thankful you were not fined.

As regards the dogs, you were obviously not in control of them also. Again a misdemeanor !

I would keep your mouth shut if you do not want others taking photos of you!  Regards.
