Yes, Devo. I've seen first hand of the havoc and death foxes can cause to sheep, lambs, chickens, etc. Such vermin still have a price on their head in Ireland where on supplying the fox's brush at a police station you can collect an instant handy reward. I don't know if this is the case in ...

...the UK.

Worse again some packs of dogs can have the same effect when they attack farms at night. These dogs are owned by people who believe their pet is as innocent as Mother Teresa. The dog owners don't even bother locking them up at night and often allow them to roam in sheep farming areas off the lead during daylight hours. Something dog owners should take note of.

No The UK  has moved on from such a barbaric practise, the law in the UK has changed to allow farmers to shoot any unattended dogs that are worrying sheep.

We use to live in Cornwall, over looking a field full of lambs, sod's law the minute they were born the wind and rain came, and I just wanted to bring them all in to sit around the fire, and have a cuddle, for some very odd reason my husband said I wasn't allowed.!!

I share your husband's opinion.

One of my dogs was tied behind a car and dragged along the road for fun, dislocating both his back hips and skin ripped off his back, I found him laying in the road after the occupants of the car drove off. Glad to say that was 4 years ago and although he limps and has awful scarring he is doing just fine. The mind of these people beggars belief.

Great work ,I said you where kind . Only one case of dog attack on the ewes and chap was their and was mortified his dog would do such a thing . He paid compensation and most apologetic , after nearly getting chucked in the river . Firm but fair I thought . Ewe stressed but ok and produced healthy twins. Our main problem is caravans pulled by transit vans selling excess tarmac and purchasing scrap metal . See still on the topic

Only kind to animals as my husband and Matthew will verify ' I am all heart' when it comes to most of the human race LOL.

You were lucky with the Ewe producing twins, after the dog attack, I always thought when Ewe's were attacked they just gave up and died, but what to I know and farming, Nowt!.

So transit vans pulling caravans offering tarmac and various other services Ummmmmmmmm I think we are talking about Travellers, Romanies, Gyspy's, not sure what the political correct term is, so hope I have covered all, we had problems in Cornwall years ago, when we said no thank you to the Tarmac, they offered to do the roof, which was only 3 years old!!! Then it was as you say, did we have any scrap metal, and then laughing they left.  a week later they came back, In case we changed out minds!!!!!  Tenacious is the word.  Still on topic LOL.

Its raining here in Oria yayayayayayay

We where only in the next lambing field and heard him shouting so tore round their by which time he had dog back on the lead . Ewe had bite to leg and face and wool hanging off but no real damage . It’s roll reversal next week as cows and calves go out so walkers and dogs beware .

I was chase by a herd of cows as a child, good job I could run fast,  so now I wont cross a field with cows in, they are far too curios for my liking.

As requested Alicia , are the camper vans still parked up on the same stretch of beach and anyone know if they are the same ones or just people on the move enjoying the country . Is it legal to travel around from province to province now .
