Alicante to Palomares

Any suggestions please on a car hire company based at Alicante Airport and if it possible to deposit it on arrival in Palomares area?

You can certainly rent a car at Alicante, but not with drop-off at Palomares; drop off there would be back at Alicante or maybe Almería.

I would avoid car hire, the prices at the moment are nearly 3 times dearer than normal, as for bus and train, bus is quicker by far, but the train is comfier. 

Costa coches Mojacar. I think you can pick up at Alicante then deposit it at office on Mojacar Playa.

I've sent them an e mail as they are closed today.

I'm hoping I can return the car when I arrive in Palomares and collect another one for my return journey and leave it at Alicante Airport before departure. 

Maybe this is not possible.

Hi.  Regarding the reader who recommended a train being more comfy.   You'll be lucky!!! There is no train into this area at all.  They do not exist!!!  Alsa buses are very good and cheap but exclusive  shuttles very good from airport and you can specify where you want to go and if they cannot get you to palomares the will arrange a taxi for the rest of the journey  i believe.
